This melon has a distinctively sweet flavor that is slightly tangier than a honeydew melon. The flesh looks like that of a pear but is softer. When ripe, the rind has a slightly waxy feel. The name comes from its bright yellow color, which resembles that of the canary.

Instructions – Melons love heat. Sow seeds 8” apart in all directions outdoors after danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. Seeds will germinate in 4-10 days. Can also be started indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost.
