The Galia melon, also known as sarda in Southeast Asia, is a type of F1 hybrid melon, originating from a cross between the green-flesh melon cultivar ‘Ha-Ogen’ and the netted-rind melon cultivar ‘Krimka’. A wonderful plant that produces lots of juicy, very sweet melons that are similar to cantaloupe, but much sweeter when fully ripened. Easy to grow and very rewarding as the melons start to ripen. These plants can be grown in a pot and also on trellises. Produces melons up to 2 1/2 pounds.
