Chenopodium ambrosioides, commonly known as Epazote, is an herbaceous plant with a strong aroma. It grows up to 3 feet tall and has serrated leaves. This plant is native to Central and South America. Epazote is often used in Mexican and Central American cuisine for its distinct flavor. It prefers well-drained soil and can be grown in USDA hardiness zones 4 to 10. However, it can also become invasive in some regions due to its self-seeding nature, so caution is advised when cultivating it in gardens.
